Thom Lunshof
After simultaneously studying Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam and Directing Fiction at the Netherlands Film Academy, Thom eventually chose for film. However, philosophy has always had an important influence on his filmmaking. He graduated the film academy with the short film Harmonia (2020), a film about a mass burn-out event at a prestigious university. He also co-wrote the screenplay, a role he also took on for his future projects. After graduation Thom made Bear (2021) and 6AM (2022), two short films which are running the festival circuit, and is currently finishing his next short film LEAF (2023) which he co-wrote and directed. He is also writing and directing his first midlenth feature Turbine (2024).
