Dodo the clown is coming home after a miserable gig, when a mysterious hitchhiker crosses his path. Dodo decides to take her, which will turn the trip into a stark nightmare... 'Clowns' is a tender and bitter short film in equal parts that, beyond making visible the anguishing reality of bullying and mistreatment that it suggests, and forcing us to become aware of it, seeks to become a hymn to life, to optimism, to altruism and, above all those things, in deserved tribute to those people who always try to make us smile.
