Giselle Lominchar

Giselle Lominchar is an actress, screenwriter and director born in Havana, with experience in film, theater and television. She graduated in Theater Art with a Dramaturgy profile from the Instituto Superior de Arte and graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Artes Escénicas. Winner of the Fund for the Promotion of Cuban Cinema (FFCC), for the production of short films with her shortfilm #Habanalike. It was referencing at the Shortfilm Market Catalogue on Clermont Ferrand 2023. Her debut feature, Blood, was part of the Official Selection at the 19th edition of the “Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre” International Festival (Argentina, 2018.), obtaining the highest public vote in its category. She has also directed commercial videos for the multinational advertising agency 4AM Saatchi & Saatchi. As an actress, Giselle has co-starred in international productions, including the films Ernesto and Das Traumschiff: Kuba. She has been nominated for the Caricato Award as best actress for her performance on television.
