ALFONSO (62) lives between the back entrance of a bank office and the street. In this small covered space, he has built his home with objects found on the street and many things that some friends and neighbours have given him. Alfonso worked as a garbage dump for many years and when he became homeless due to a family dispute for an inheritance, he settled in Gràcia (Barcelona), occupying different spaces in the neighborhood. Inside, it keeps hundreds of books and dvd movies.
After 4 years there, some residents of the property forced his eviction, which took place right in the middle of the period of confinement due to the coronavirus. A period when everyone was supposed to stay at home. On the last count, carried out in May 2020 as part of the state of alarm, counted 1,239 people sleeping on the streets of Barcelona
