Emilio, a young Peruvian living in NYC, is caught off guard when Mary, a Peruvian childhood acquaintance (now his cleaning woman), arrives with her baby to his apartment. The situation tests Emilios loyalties as he tries to satisfy his demanding partner, Andrew, and support a compatriot in need.

RAFAEL ALVARADO
Rafael Alvarado Martin is a Peruvian director, recent Graduate MFA in Cinema Arts by Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, Brooklyn College- CUNY.
Within the MFA program at Feirstein, Rafael has directed and produced 3 short films. In 2020, his second-year film First They Came for My Mother, screened as part of the Rooftop Films Summer Series Screenings at the Queens Drive In, NYC, and got official selections at 8 festivals around the US and Europe: The Tide Film Festival, Official Latino Films and Arts Festival, Montreal Independent Film Festival, Bucharest ShortCut Cinefest, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat International Film Festival, Indie Short Fest, New Faces New Voices, and First-Time Filmmaker Sessions. By June 2023, he just completed post-production for his thesis short Film We Were Kids Back Then.
He graduated from PUCP University in Peru as a Communication Sciences Bachelor in 2004. There, he focused on courses on Theater and Audio-Visual Communications. Since then, he ́s been working in documentaries, corporate videos, and advertising in Peru for about 15 years. In 2003, as part of a school project he co-directed a Music Video for the Peruvian rock band 6 Voltios, which made it into the regular programming at MTV Latin America. In 2011 he directed a Documentary called Stoked which followed the adventures of Peruvian free surfer Jonathan Gubbins. That same year, he founded his own production Company called Katapulta, where he directed many advertising pieces and content for both digital and Tv, and showcased on advertising platforms such as AdAge, Ads of the World, AdLand, and LatinSpots.
In 2017 he moved to Barcelona, Spain where he worked as 2nd AD in many advertising productions and in the same position in the Netflix Film production called 4 Latas, shoot on location in Morocco, and the Canary Islands.
In 2018 he moved to NYC to start the directing program at Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, Brooklyn College-CUNY, that he just graduated from in May 2022.
