Tum Nahi Chara Gar is a documentary based on the life of Saira - a transgender woman, living in the conservative society of Balochistan, province of Pakistan. The film explores her life since she was a child, her journey of coming to a new city, finding new people, the struggles and discrimination she meanwhile faced because of her gender and identity. It also tells the audience about what life has been for the transgender community in Pakistan after the COVID-19 pandemic, and the deadly floods in Balochistan in the last two years. It is a deep, emotional and very enlightening vision about the transgender community.

I began my career as a filmmaker in 2021, while doing my bachelors in mass communication. The first film that I directed was a fiction short film, "Baiti" - "Daughter" for a women's day screening at our local cinema. After that I directed and shot a music video about gender equality, a short film - the lost flag was written and co-directed by me. In 2023, I worked on two radio scripts, both directed and produced by me, a documentary about the Bethel Memorial Church, Quetta, a short film "The Lost List". Tum Nahi Chara Gar is the biggest project I have worked on as a director up till now, calling it big because it was mentored by Scottish Documentary Institute and the only Oscar winning Pakistani director - Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy. Apart from that I have directed and shot various commercial and music videos.
